Ali Abulaban comes from a Muslim Palestinian family and holds dual Palestinian-American nationality.

His mother, Dalal Warra, testified in his trial and shared details about their family life. She married Ali’s father when she was around 15 years old.

Regarding the case, in May 2024, after a two-week trial, Ali was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder.

After the tragic incident, authorities took Ali Abulaban’s daughter into protective custody. She is reportedly now in the care of other family members.
