Breanne Spivey, a 13-year-old teen from Florida, missing since September 14, 2024, was found in Broward County with a man she allegedly met online.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement informed that Breanne Spivey was last seen on September 14 in the 3900th block of Sparky Lane in Hillsborough County.
Reportedly, the teen left her home near Keane Road and McGee Road without permission between 1 A.M. and 3 A.M.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office found the 13-year-old safe on September 17 in Broward County, South Florida, with a 38-year-old man, Edward Rodriguez.

After Breanne’s disappearance, the sheriff’s office listed her as an endangered missing juvenile.
She had also been added to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children database.
This resulted in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issuing a statewide missing child alert, leading to a week-long search.
Moreover, after Breanne Spivey was found on September 17, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement,
“We are immensely grateful that this young girl has been found. I want to extend my deepest thanks to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals for their quick and effective support. Our joint efforts have brought a young girl home to her family, and that is what truly matters.”
Authorities took Rodriguez into custody after they found Breanne Spivey.
According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, he is facing one count of interference with child custody with additional criminal charges.
Furthermore, there has been no news about why Breanne Spivey left her home and was with the 38-year-old man. However, further investigation is still ongoing.
