Sutskever’s decision to leave comes as he embarks on a personally meaningful project, details of which he plans to share in due time.
His departure follows a period of speculation which include his regret over his role in the attempted deposing of CEO Sam Altman last year.
After months of a period of silence, Sutskever admitted that he regretted his participation in the event.
