Essie Randles, AKA Esther Randles, was born to parents Brendan Randles (an architect and urban designer) and Sally Hunt Randles. She also has a younger brother named Jackson Randles.

Born on February 26, 1999, in Sydney, Australia, actress Essie Randles has made notable appearances in various films and theaters.

She began her acting career in theater and performed in various productions such as “Come Again,” Gary Gary Gary Gary,” “Dracula” and more.

Additionally, she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Acting from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) at the University of Melbourne in 2019.

This documentary follows the unsolved Burger Chef Murders in which four youngsters, including Jayne, were kidnapped and brutally killed.

Essie Randles portrays Jayne, the fast food restaurant assistant manager in this gripping series.

Born on May 5, 1958, Jayne was known for her involvement in various activities and was considered a hard worker.

After dedicating three years to another Burger Chef location, she was transferred to the Speedway.

On November 17, 1978, Jayne Friedt (20) and three other young Burger Chef employees, Ruth Shelton (17), Mark Flemmonds (17), and Daniel Davis (16), disappeared from a restaurant on Crawfordsville Road.

After two days, their bodies were found in a remote area of Johnson County, and the victims were shot and stabbed.

This case, also known as the Burger Chef Murders, remains one of Indiana’s most infamous and puzzling unsolved crimes.

The retired lead investigator, Stoney Vann, has stated that he will take this case to his grave.

Moreover, the story unfolds as the documentary explores divergent theories. Also, the filmmakers receive a second-hand confession from a victim’s close friend.
