Barriss Offee was offered into the ranks of Inquisitorius during the Imperial Era, not the Sister. Before, she was known under the names “Wise Mother” and “The Healer.”
During the Clone Wars, she fell to the dark side of the Force while serving as a Jedi Knight.
Barriss wielded a blue lightsaber and was trained as a Padawan under Jedi Master Luminara Unduli.
She learned to heal others with her interest in studying ancient Jedi texts over fighting.
Barriss Offee was in Power of “Inquisitorius,” Not The “Sister”
In the border dispute on Ansion, a female Mirial, Barriss Offee, was born on the planet Mirial.
She was brought and raised in the Jedi Temple to train as a Jedi. She also became a Padawan to Jedi Master Luminara Unduli.
While growing up, she studied the lightsaber technique with Tutso Mara, and they later became close to each other.
Barriss Offee was known for her blue eyes, yellow skin, brown hair, and black diamond-shaped tattoos.
And as an inquisitor, she had her own red double-bladed spinning light saber, which was standard amongst their rank.
She was also known for her intelligence, daring actions, and memorizing the entire layout of the system of Geonosian catacombs after her master asked her.
Like other Jedi, Offee was also force-sensitive and one of the skilled telekinesis, which enabled her to utilize it to push the force in the battle.
While she was in the Imperial Era, she was recruited to the Inquisitorius rank. After knowing and witnessing their needless cruelty and evil behavior, she reclaimed her identity as Jedi, not Inquistorius.
Since then, she has become a wandering healer and helped needy people. The Fourth Sister, Lyn Rakish, her former friend, hunted her down and gravely injured her.
Moreover, Barriss was initially introduced in the Legends novel The Approaching Storm by Alan Dean Foster.
The “Healer” Barriss Offee is Back after 10 Years
After 10 years of absence, Barriss Offee finally returns to Star Wars: Tales of the Empire.
If you are a Star Wars fan, you must know how the Clone Wars season ended. Shockingly, it was revealed that Barriss bombed the Jedi Temple where she was raised.
She turned herself against the Jedi, seeing them as an army fighting for the dark side. Since then, she has been arrested, and any hint of her whereabouts has also disappeared.
In addition, she was also seen in an attempt to kill her former partner in crime, who was trying to protect her.
Aside from her two shocking endings, her betrayal of her close friend Ahsoka by framing her for the crime was the most painful act for her admirers.
With her appearance in Tale of Empire’s final episode, it was shown she was stabbed by a lightsaber by the Fourth Sister.
But, the episode also highlights Barriss not being dead after she was dragged and carried by Lyn out of the cave.
With the help of her healing abilities, she allowed herself to stay alive long enough for Lyn to get help.
