Darren moved to IMTV in Dauphin, Manitoba, after a year of working on STV Saskatoon, now known as Global Station.

Later, the sportscaster spent seven years hosting Sports Night on ITV. Simultaneously, he hosted a daily radio sportscast.

The former couple’s son, Brett Dutchyshen, has been serving at CIBC since January 2013 on different designations.

He has been serving as a financial services associate for a little over a year since April 2023.

After the failed relationship with Candice, Darren Dutchyshen started seeing fellow Sports Centre host Kate Beirness.

The power couple has been together for a prolonged time. However, their detailed relationship timeline has yet to be revealed.

Darren and Kate have been very vocal about their relationship on social media platforms. According to The Star, they even went on a European trip.

After his demise, Kate took to her Instagram to share a picture and pen an eulogy, expressing her gratitude for having met and known him.
