“The Boys” cast Erin Moriarty, aka Starlight, became the subject of plastic surgery rumors. Amid the harsh backlash, she backfired at accusations via a lengthy, now-deleted Instagram post in January 2024.

Likewise, she fired back at news veteran Megyn Kelly’s accusations and explained that she used an inaccurately dated photo for her comparison.

In her later statement, Erin clarified to the audience that the appearance is the aftermath of major contouring while thanking her glam team for giving such a precise makeup look.

Although Erin Moriarty hasn’t confirmed getting any plastic surgery, the prominent and noticeable change in her facial features suggests otherwise.

Dr. Anthony Youn, a respected plastic surgeon, addressed the rumors about Erin’s alleged cosmetic surgery on his YouTube channel.

He analyzed her facial features, comparing photos from different times to suggest potential cosmetic procedures she might have undergone.

While some claim she has undergone procedures, Dr. Youn’s verdict suggests that Erin didn’t have any major surgeries.

He started the analysis by highlighting her prominent facial characteristics from a 2016 photo.

Dr. Youn pointed out her facial characteristics: a round face, a slightly arched eyebrow, and a petite nose with a tiny bump on the bridge.

He then referenced a recent picture that got everyone talking about Erin getting under the knife.

The surgeon then compared photos taken from different angles to previous ones from different time frames.

Despite the pictures appearing to be taken at the same time, he confirmed that they were taken four years apart, one from 2016 and the other from 2022.

He stated that her jawline, brows, and nose look pretty much the same when analyzed from different angles.

That said, Dr. Youn hasn’t confirmed if she has had work done on her facial features until now.

He also acknowledged that Erin’s changes could also be attributed to natural aging and makeup techniques like contouring.

Likewise, another surgeon, Dr. Gary Linkov, also took to his YouTube channel to address the prevailing theories.

Dr. Linkov suggested that Erin might have had minor facial adjustments, such as Botox to the forehead, glabella, and crow’s feet.

He also noted that the actress now has a smooth dorsum or nose bridge, unlike the little bump she had before.

When Erin first appeared in The Boys, she was in her early 20s. Since then, she has grown and matured, which could explain some differences in her appearance.
